This retainer is designed to use the standard Animal/206 7deg keeper and a Comp Cams 965 valve spring. In open applications where maximum RPM is the priority.
We have 3 different size options for changing the valve spring height. The value is expressed as the offset from the keeper groove to the location of the outer spring in a positive direction, meaning the spring is above the groove. The higher the offset the greater installed height the spring will have along with less seat pressure.

*For many reasons the specific height of the spring to retainer groove may vary. In general these are a tuning option and can also be with valve spring shims to fine tune your installed Height.
