Updated lash adjuster with deeper pockets and center oiling hole
Custom made on state of the art screw machine out of tool steel.
Heat treated for long life.
New design has a deeper pocket than the original and better oiling while not being any heavier.
This deeper design will help keep the pushrod in the pocket incase of an overrev situation.
If valve float and pushrod retention is an issue with the older design or updated design then serious attention needs to be put on the situation causing it. It is unsafe for the engine and user to over rev the valvetrain to this situation. Possible causes are: to loose of valve lash, too weak of valve spring pressure, to much engine RPM because of improper setup (gearing).
